Squirrels on the Town
The black squirrel is the unofficial mascot of the City of London, and has caused quite a bit of hype over the years. There is even a “Black Squirrel Mascot Task Force” in the city that regularly petitions for official recognition of the squirrel. In the small town where I grew up, the White Squirrel was the official mascot, and it was interesting for me to see just how much a mascot can alter the identity of a city.  I created a series of official black squirrel mascot outfits that could be incorporated into the city’s search for a mascot identity.  Click To Go Back
